Whether you’re a farmer, or someone who works with farmers, you’ll appreciate our robust agronomy platform. We find the best products from around the world and distribute them through cooperatives and retailers across North America, so farms have exactly what they need, when they need it. Long recognized as a leading distributor of crop nutrients, CHS added crop protection in 2019 – giving the industry a comprehensive, farmer-owned supply partner. Our approach is collaborative. Our infrastructure is unmatched. And our commitment to serving retailers and their farmer customers is unwavering.
The CHS agronomy supply chain, known for its globally integrated crop nutrient business with strategic assets, capabilities and expertise, now includes nitrogen production and crop protection distribution capabilities spanning products from all the major manufacturers, plus several specialized fertilizers and adjuvants, seed treatments and more.
CHS invested in nitrogen production through CF Nitrogen, LLC, a joint venture with CF Industries providing CHS with access to 1.7 million tons of domestic production and complementing extensive import and distribution infrastructure, including a deep-water port in Galveston, Texas, and river, rail and truck terminals. More recently, CHS expanded its agronomy distribution assets, capabilities, and expertise by building a full-service crop protection platform.
